A 13-year-old boy is facing weapon possession charges after he brought a BB gun to his Bronx middle school and pointed it at a female classmate, authorities said.

The teen, whose name has not been released by authorities, allegedly snuck the gun into the educational complex at 3710 Barnes Avenue that houses both the Leaders of Tomorrow middle school and the North Bronx School of Empowerment.

NYPD officers responded to the building after faculty members learned the boy had pointed the weapon at a 12-year-old girl at school, authorities said. They seized the gun, as well as multiple BB magazines.

The charges were first reported by the New York Post.
