14-Year-Old Shot in Fordham

A 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg in Fordham Thursday, police said.

The teen, whose name was not released, was standing outside a building on Creston Avenue near East 193rd Street shortly after 3 p.m. when the bullet struck him, according to the NYPD. He was rushed to  St. Barnabas Hospital and is expected to recover.

No arrests had been announced as of Friday afternoon.
