A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in Soundview early Sunday morning, authorities said.
Nestor Ventura suffered multiple gunshot wounds on Commonwealth Avenue shortly before 4 a.m, according to police.
Doctors at Jacobi Medical Center pronounced him dead a short time later.
No arrests had been made in the shooting as of Sunday afternoon.
