67-Year-Old Man Wounded by Stray Bullet in Bronx

A 67-year-old man was wounded by a stray bullet at a Bronx bus stop Thursday, authorities said.

The victim was seated on the bus bench in the 800 block of Melrose Avenue when the bullet struck him in his side about  2:15 p.m., according to the NYPD. The man’s name was not made public.

He was being treated at Lincoln Hospital and is expected to survive.

Police released surveillance footage of the suspected gunman, who was apparently shooting at someone else.
