Cabbie Stabbed in University Heights

Detectives are investigating the stabbing of a Bronx livery driver during a wild street fight in University Heights, authorities said.

An unknown suspect knifed the 26-year-old cabbie in the midst of the Aug. 5 brawl, which broke out in front of 60 W. 183rd St., and was caught on surveillance video, according to the NYPD.

The stabbing victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is recovering from his injuries, police said.
