The death of an 8-month-old girl found unconscious in a bathtub at a Bronx housing project earlier this month has been ruled a homicide, authorities said.

The baby’s mother, Emily Ramirez, 23, left little Amelia Belle Perez in the bathtub of their Vyse Avenue apartment in the Murphy Houses about 6:30 p.m. on July 3, according to authorities.

Ramirez left the water running in the tub while she cleaned up their Crotona Park residence, officials said. When she came back to the bathroom, Perez was floating in the water-filled bathtub, face-down.

Perez clung to life for nearly two weeks after paramedics rushed her to St. Barnabas Hospital. She died there July 15.

No charges have been filed in the case, which remains under investigation by NYPD detectives.
