Man Fatally Shot in Head in Claremont

A 36-year-old man was fatally shot in his head by a man he was arguing with outside a Claremont liquor store Saturday night, police said.

NYPD officers responding to a 911 call at Legacy Wine & Liquors on Webster Avenue at East 170th Street found the wounded victim, whose name has not been released, shortly after 10:30 p.m., police said.

Paramedics rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

No arrests had been announced as of Sunday afternoon.
