A masked man armed with two knives walked into the 40th Precinct in Mott Haven Saturday and told police there he wanted to commit suicide-by-cop, authorities said.

Montey White, 27, entered the NYPD precinct on Alexander Avenue around 10:30 p.m., causing several officers in the precinct lobby to back away from the ski-mask clad intruder, police said. One of the cops drew his gun, video of the incident shows, but no shots were fired.

White, who said he wanted to to be shot to death, was subdued by officers and arrested on charges that include weapon possession, menacing a police officer, and obstructing governmental administration, according to police and court records. No one was hurt during the incident.

White was arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court after undergoing a psychiatric evaluation, and released without bail.

He has several prior arrests on charges ranging from weapon possession to sexual assault, records show.

White, who is due back in court July 16, could not immediately be reached for comment.
