A 34-year old Bronx man has died after being shot in the back of his head in Westchester Square last week, police said Monday.

A still unidentified gunman (pictured) shot Edwin Monroig as he walked down East Tremont Avenue in Westchester Square about 9:50 p.m. on July 28, according to the NYPD. The shooter got away on foot.

The men had gotten into a dispute sometime before the fatal attack, officials said.

Anyone who recognizes the gunman is asked to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
