Homicide detectives are searching for a killer who stabbed a 24-year-old man to death in Mott Haven Saturday night, police said.

The victim was found outside St. Mary’s Park in shortly after 9 p.m., with two severe stab wounds to his torso, police said. He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.

No arrests had been announced as of Sunday morning. The victim’s name was not immediately released.

The park has been a haven for drug use and crime in the past, with a local heroin trade thriving in and around the green space.
