A 60-year-old man beaten during a Christmas Eve mugging in the Bronx has died from his injuries, authorities said.
Juan Fresnada, of Morrisania, was set upon by three assailants who stole $1 from him after pummeling him with punches and kicks, as well as a large trash can, according to police.
The NYPD released surveillance photos showing the faces of two possible suspects in the fatal beating.
Fresnada’s male partner was also attacked, but declined medical treatment, authorities said.
