Two new homeless shelters are slated to open in the West Bronx next year, authorities said.

One shelter will be opened at 1144 Evergreen Ave. in Highbridge, with space for about 50 families, according to the city’s Department of Homeless Services.

The other shelter will be opened at 951 Olmstead Ave. in Unionport, with space for about 160 families.

Plans for the new shelters were first reported by News 12 The Bronx.

The shelters are part of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Turning the Tide program, which aims to combat New York City’s homeless crisis.
