One Man Killed, Another Wounded by Gunfire in Bronx

One man was fatally shot and another wounded in the Bronx Wednesday, police said.

Gunfire struck Quamel Anderson, 28, of Brooklyn in his torso in front of 622 E. 168th St. around 2 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Paramedics rushed Anderson to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A second victim, a 34 year-old man, walked into Lincoln Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
