A 33-year-old woman was found dead with multiple stab wounds in her Bronx apartment Friday, after a 911 caller reported a foul odor coming from inside, police said.

Authorities discovered Cindi Olivo dead on her bedroom floor. Her injuries were not immediately apparent because her body was so badly decomposed, according to an NYPD official.

She had apparently been dead inside her University Avenue residence in Fordham Heights for at least several days.

Olivo’s cause of death has not been determined, and no arrests have been made.
