A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder and robbery in the death of a Bronx cab driver run over by his own vehicle, police said.

Ahvier Medina surrendered to the NYPD with his lawyer Tuesday after authorities released his surveillance photo in connection with the July 14 death of Mohammad Zafrullah, 65, according to an NYPD official.

The cabbie was killed while running after the teen, who had made off with Zafrullah’s bag after being dropped in Soundview about 11:45 p.m., the official said.

Zafrullah failed to put the taxi in park before getting out, and it fatally struck him, according to the NYPD.

A lawyer for Medina could not immediately be reached for comment.
