Detectives Make Arrests in First Bronx Murders of New Year

Homicide detectives have made arrests in the first two Bronx homicides of 2020, authorities said.

Ryan Chambers, 34, is charged with murder in the Jan. 1 killing of Rahkeem Jennings, who was found dead with bullet wounds to his head and neck inside his apartment at the Bronx River Houses on East 174th Street and Stratford Avenue about 10:30 a.m.

Chambers’ attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.

The NYPD also announced the arrest of Daron Goodman in the killing of Jason Parris, 36, in Wakefield Saturday. Goodman’s lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment.
