The Bronx has the lowest percentage of fully vaccinated residents in the five boroughs, according to data compiled by the city.

Just 34 percent of Bronxites have received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, or the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, according to the data.

The Bronx total is lower than the citywide average of 43 percent, as well as the percentage of fully vaccinated residents in Brooklyn (38 percent),  Manhattan (54 percent), Queens (47 percent), and Staten Island (40 percent).

The Bronx also has the lowest percentage of residents who are partially vaccinated, at 42 percent.

The COVID-19 vaccine is now freely available to all New York residents 12 and older.
