A ski-mask clad gunman shot and killed a Bronx bodega worker Friday, saying nothing as he entered to the store and blew away the 34-year-old, police said.
Yehya Almontaser, a native of Yemen who had recently become a U.S. citizen, suffered two bullet wounds to his chest shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the B&A Gourmet Deli, on Brook Avenue at 137th Street in Mott Haven, according to the NYPD.
He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
No arrests had been announced as of Saturday night. Anyone with information is asked to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
