14-Year-Old Boy Stabbed in Fordham

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in his chest and stomach by an attacker who stole his smartphone in the Bronx Thursday, police said.

The teen was walking near the intersection of Jerome and Fordham avenues in Fordham when the armed mugger attacked him around 12:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Paramedics rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is recovering. No arrests had been announced as of Friday afternoon.
