Attacker Pummels Man on Bronx Bus, Knocking Out Eight Teeth

A man was badly beaten by an attacker who knocked out eight of his teeth on a Bronx bus, police said Sunday.

The July 2 assault happened on an eastboundĀ BX36 bus as it traversed East 180th Street near 3rd Avenue about 11 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Both men got off the bus; the attacker fled and the victim walked to a local hospital, police said.

Authorities have released a photo (above) of the man they believe carried out the beating.
