Homicide detectives on Wednesday arrested the ski-mask clad gunman they say shot and killed a Bronx bodega worker last week, police said.

Leonard Nieves, 33, said nothing as he entered B&A Gourmet Deli, on Brook Avenue at 137th Street in Mott Haven, and fatally shot Yehya Almontaser in his chest shortly after 6:30 p.m. Friday, according to the NYPD.

Nieves, who police say walked with a cane as he entered the store, is charged with murder, manslaughter and gun possession. Police have not publicly stated a motive for the killing.

The accused gunman’s attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
