An off-duty Bronx cop was arrested for assault after punching his own brother at a party Sunday, authorities said.

Police Officer Ariel Victor Castillo, 41, received a desk appearance ticket for misdemeanor assault from the NYPD, rather than being taken to jail, which is the procedural norm following assault arrests.

Castillo will face a judge at a future court date.

He could not immediately be reached for comment, and it was not clear Tuesday whether he had an attorney.
