A Bronx man died Monday when the plane he was piloting crashed into a Maryland home, authorities said.

Gordon Allen, 61, was flying a Grumman American AA-5A when it struck the home about 3 p.m., just three miles south of the College Park Airport where the flight originated, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

No one else was hurt, and the cause of the crash is under investigation, authorities said.
