Christopher Bridges Fatally Shot in Longwood

A 58-year-old man was shot and killed in Longwood Tuesday, authorities said.

Christopher Bridges took slugs to his head and torso about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 165th Street and Faile Street, according to the NYPD.

Bridges died at the scene, and the killer or killers got away.
