Dad Charged in Infant’s Death

A Bronx man was arrested Thursday for allegedly smothering his 1-month-old son to death with a pillow, authorities said.

Teshawn Watkins, 27, was charged with murder, manslaughter, reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child after police found his infant son Kaseem lifeless in the family’s Williamsbridge apartment Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.

An attorney for Watkins could not immediately be reached for comment.
