Homicide detectives are hunting the killer of James Solano, the 16-year-old Bronx boy shot outside a Morrisania deli Wednesday, authorities said.

The teen was wounded outside the King Deli and Grocery on Boston Road about 12:10 before staggering inside the store, according to the NYPD.

He died from his bullet wound at a local hospital.

A gunman wearing a white COVID mask had walked up to the teen moments earlier, communicating with him before opening fire at point-blank range, surveillance video shows.

Anyone with information is asked to call 800-577-TIPS.
