An 8-year-old girl was shot inside her family’s apartment at the Patterson Houses Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The child suffered a gunshot wound to her stomach shortly after 9 a.m. at the NYCHA property in Mott Haven. Her mother rushed her to Lincoln Hospital, where she is recovering and expected to survive, authorities said.
No arrests have been announced as of Wednesday night.
