A 29-year old man was shot to death, possibly in connection with a drug dispute, outside a Mount Hope building Friday, authorities said.

Police said the victim was standing on West 176th Street near Walton Avenue when a gunman opened fire, wounding him multiple times about 8:30 p.m.

He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

The shooting may have stemmed from a drug-related dispute between street rivals.

No arrests had been announced as of Saturday afternoon, nor had the victim’s name been released.
