A 27-year-old man was shot and killed in Soundview over the weekend, authorities said
Anthony Martin was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car on Beach Avenue about 8:20 p.m. Saturday when someone fired a gunshot into his torso.
He died a short time later at Jacobi Hospital.
No arrests had been made as of Tuesday. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
