Domino’s Pizza on Monday announced plans to hire 20,000 new employees—a potential boon to Bronx workers left jobless amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
With unemployment in the borough now at Depression era levels, more positions are likely to be added at the Bronx’s 15-plus Domino’s locations.
The pizza chain said it’s franchise stores are looking to fill multiple positions including delivery experts, pizza makers, customer service representatives, managers, and assistant managers.
Supply chain centers across the U.S. are also hiring production and warehouse team members, according to Domino’s.
