Man Killed, Woman Injured in Mott Haven Stabbings

A man was killed and a woman seriously injured in a stabbing attack in Mott Haven Tuesday, authorities said.

A man wielding a knife came at the victims about 4 p.m. on East 149th St. near Courtlandt Avenue, following an argument in the street, according to the NYPD.

The male victim, 38, suffered three stab wounds to his chest before doctors pronounced him dead at Lincoln Hospital.

The female victim, 41, suffered a slash wound to her arm and is expected to recover.

No arrests have been announced in the case.
