Man Shot, Pistol-Whipped in Brutal Robbery

A 25-year-old man was brutally pistol-whipped and shot in his arm during a robbery caught on surveillance video in the Bronx, police said.

The gunman beat the victim at Cruger Avenue and Pelham Parkway South, then shot him twice around 1:20 a.m. on Aug. 21, according to the NYPD.

The attacker took $3,000 from the man before fleeing, authorities said. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover from his gunshot wounds.
