An NYPD transit officer in the Bronx was arrested for allegedly robbing a victim of his watch and marijuana at gunpoint, authorities said Friday.

Michael Latimer of the Transit Bureau was off-duty when he and an accomplice allegedly entered an Allerton apartment shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday, holding one or more guns on their target, according to a police official.

Latimer and his cohort, both wearing ski masks and bulletproof vests, made off with the man’s watch and a duffel bag containing weed, the official said.

A witness with information about the crime called police, and officers stopped a car with the alleged robbers inside a short time later.

Additional information about the arrest was not immediately available.
