Woman Fatally Bludgeoned at Castle Hill Houses

Detectives are searching for the killer who beat a 61-year-old woman to death in her Bronx apartment Sunday night, authorities said.

Angelica Jimenez was found unconscious with her head bludgeoned inside her living room at the Castle Hill Houses about 6:45 p.m.

The city Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of her death.

The case is currently being investigated as a homicide.
