Innocent bystander Brandon Hendricks, 17, was shot in his neck on Davidson Avenue while attending a birthday barbecue in Morris Heights shortly before midnight Sunday, police said.
“At this time, these appear to be crimes of opportunity,” DEA spokesman Michael Miller said of the strikes on pharmacies. “DEA has not seen evidence of a coordinated effort.”
