Bronx Man Slain in Morrisania Homicide

Homicide detectives are searching for at least one gunman in the Monday night killing of a 34-year-old Bronx man in Morrisania, authorities said.

Rashidi Goddard, 34, and a second male victim, also 34, were shot on Franklin Avenue near East 167th Street shortly after 10 p.m., according to the NYPD.

The shooter or shooters got away.

Goddard died at the scene. The second gunshot victim was rushed to Lincoln hospital with critical injuries, and is recovering.

No arrests had been announced as of Friday night. Anyone with information is asked to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
