A homeless man has been charged with murder in the killing of a 23-year-old in the Bronx earlier this week, police said.

Christopher Padin, 27, allegedly carried out the fatal Jan. 19 shooting of Matthew Jones outside a Creston Avenue apartment building, following a dispute over money, according to the NYPD.

Paramedics rushed Jones to St. Barnabas Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Padin’s attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
