A man riding the No. 4 train in the Bronx slashed another rider’s face Saturday after an argument broke out between the two, authorities said.

The attack happened about 7:45 a.m. on the southbound train, shortly before it pulled into the 167th Street station at River Avenue, according to the NYPD.

The slasher stayed on board while the injured victim got off at that stop, authorities said.

He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital and is recovering.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday morning. Anyone with information is asked to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
