The corpses of two newborn boys were found wrapped in brown paper on a Bronx building patio Monday—a shocking discovery that has detectives working to unravel the mystery of their deaths, authorities said.

The super at the College Avenue apartment building in Concourse said they found the infants shortly before 2 p.m. and notified authorities. Paramedics rushed the boys to Bronx Lebanon, where doctors pronounced them dead.

No additional details were immediately made public.

Anyone with information is asked to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
