An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested Sunday for shoplifting from a Home Depot store in Throgs Neck, authorities said.

Julio Jimenez, 34, an 11-year-veteran of the police force, allegedly swiped appliances and other home goods from the business on Bruckner Boulevard around 4 p.m., stuffing them in his coat before exiting.

Store security caught up with him and called police, authorities said. Officers issued Jimenez a desk appearance ticket, in lieu of taking him to jail.

He was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, and suspended without pay by the NYPD, authorities said.

Sunday’s bust marked sat least the second time Jimenez has been arrested while on the force. He was charged in a 2014 domestic violence case in which he allegedly dragged his pregnant wife with a vehicle.

The disposition of that case was not immediately available.
