An elementary school in Crotona Park has been closed after two people on campus tested positive for COVID-19, authorities said Friday

The campus of PS 811X in Crotona Park will remain closed for 24 hours in accordance with safety measures put in place by the city amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Sept. 21 is the first full day of scheduled teaching and learning at city public schools. Students in blended learning – a combination of in-person and remote lessons – will begin reporting to buildings that day, while remote students will begin learning online.
