Two Gun Homicides in the Bronx Amid Violent Weekend

Two men were killed in separate shootings in the Bronx early Saturday, authorities said.

The first homicide victim, a 23-year-old man, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to his head at the Jackson Houses in Concourse Village about 1:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.

A second man shot in the incident survived.

About 15 minutes later, a 25-year-old man was shot in his torso on East 176th Street in Mount Hope, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.

No arrests have been announced in either killing.
