The family of a young Bronx father killed by gun violence is asking for the public’s help with funeral expenses.
Shaiquan Wilson, 21, who recently became a dad, was killed by a masked gunman about 10:40 p.m. Friday in Soundview, according to police.
“Shaiquan was a friend to all,” a donation request published on behalf of his family says. “A father. A brother. His daughter was born 4 days before he was murdered. Whatever you can donate will be appreciated…All proceeds is going to his mom and daughter.“

No arrests have been announced in Wilson’s homicide as of Monday morning.
